How did you find Luxury Reps?
I was on a quest to find the Gucci Supreme Blooms backpack in blue. I didn’t want to spend $1000 dollars on it (ironically). I came across Luxury Reps when finding quality reps and I have never turned back!
How many reps do you own?
About 7 bags. Also 2 SLGs, some VCA vgold jewellery, 2 pairs of YSL sunglasses, Gucci tiger sliders which are ridiculous but SO FUN and a cheap DHG Avalon blanket which my cat has shredded. I naively bought a Diptyque rep perfume which I have since learned is A Very Bad/Dangerous Thing so that just looks pretty on my vanity and never gets sprayed. Another Avalon blanket for my cat to shred and some LV catogram twillys are on their way as we speak.
Were you familiar with reps before RL? Did you have a positive, neutral or negative view on reps beforehand?
Honestly, I didn’t really know much about designer. I knew what some where but when I saw them in public I hardly noticed them anyways. Now I see EVERY designer article. I’m neutral on reps - wear what you want, get it how you want, love it how you want.
How many reps do you own? What categories do you typically buy?
I own 6 reps, I mainly buy bags because they’re my guilty pleasure. I’m looking into backpacks and maybe a LV trunk from Aaron. I like fancy boxes that hold things (it’s probably why I like bags).
About how much have you spent on reps?
Honestly, I have zero clue. If I were to guess, probably not more than $1500. Which is VERY modest compared to some others that I’ve seen on this reddit. NOW, I’m not discriminating! I Just haven’t found other pieces that I want to buy! I’m sure it’ll rack up in the long run.
What is your most expensive bag?
My Chanel So-Black Boy Bag in 25. It was a little over $600 and worth every penny. The chain is very heavy, the leather is SUPER soft but still incredibly durable. If any of you are familiar with HAAS you know what I’m talking about. I get a LOT of compliments on it when I wear it, both from men and women.
What are the most important brands or pieces in your collection?
I have 2!
First, definitely my Chanel Boy Bag in all black. It’s something that I wanted for a very long time when I saw it and I was VERY picky on where I was going to get it. I didn’t want a medium quality rep, I wanted that top shelf leather.
Second is my LV 30 speedy. It’s a classic bag that fits my lifestyle. I use & abuse that bag and its almost 5 years old now. It’s gone with me to MANY places and I can fit a small child in it. If you’re ever in the market for a Speedy definitely go to Nancy, hers are reinforced with concrete.
Any particular bag that holds a special sentimental value?
I would probably say my Gucci Marmont camera bag in milk tea. It arrived in my hands the same day I left my abusive ex so I feel it has been through a lot with me.
