How did you find Luxury Reps?
I was researching an authentic bag I wanted and I was extremely lucky to have stumbled across this sub.
Were you familiar with reps before LR?
yes somewhat. I had a few reps I had purchased from IG but they weren’t nearly as nice as the ones I’ve gotten from our sellers here.
How many reps do you own?
around 28-30
How many are auth, how many are rep?
17 rep with 2 on way. Around 10 authentic
How much have you spent on reps?
probably 5000+
What is your most expensive bag?
My authentic LV black empriente Pochette Metis. For rep probably one of my chanel 19.
What are the most important brands or pieces in your collection?
For Authentic, I almost exclusively buy LV. For reps I gravitate towards chanel and YSL. And I’m obsessed with Chanel 19 bags
What bag did you first fall in love with, and when? Did you end up buying it?
LV Speedy25 bandoliere in DE print and yes I bought it but have since sold it.
Any particular bag that holds a special sentimental value?
My auth LV favorite mm bag in mono came from Italy. My in laws found it while they were on vacation. Also my auth LV pochette metis in mono was a birthday gift from my husband while I was pregnant. They were both very difficult to find at the time.
Is there a specific bag you are looking to purchase next? Or have you reached purse peace?
I don’t think I will ever reach purse peace. I am looking to purchase a classic flap from 187 and my first rep LV. I’m looking to get a dauphine mm just haven’t decided which seller or factory yet.
Do you feel like your bags change people’s perceptions of you or how you’re treated?
I actually do not, but I don’t go many places.
The Shopping
How often do you buy new bags?
reps probably 1-2 times monthly, authentic maybe 1-2 per year for special occasions like birthday and Christmas
If you have purchased auth in the past, do you still plan to continue?
yes but they are almost exclusively gifts from my husband. He refuses to buy me reps. He supports me, but he personally doesn’t buy reps. Almost all my LV bags are from him.
Do you ever buy second-hand bags (including BST)? Where do you buy used?
My vintage LV neo noe was pre-owned from ebay. I have not purchased on BST yet, but I would if the right item came up. I have sold on BST several times though
Do you ever sell bags on BST? How many and why?
I have several mostly just because I didn’t love the bag or I’m selling to fund new bags.
Who influences your buying decisions?
no one in particular. Mostly other reviews or occasional I’ll go into a store and see a bag I love and try to locate a rep. This recently happened when I went to Gucci and now I have a horsebit and marmont bag on their way to me from Mr. Gary. IG is also very influential for me.
Why do you enjoy shopping, beyond just acquiring something new?
it’s a serotonin boost for me for sure and I have an extremely stressful job and anxiety.

I try to keep my play money 500 per month

Any other hobbies or passions?
I also collect starbucks tumblers and I enjoy photography and spending time with my son and husband.

I am wondering if I’m the only one who doesn’t wear many of their bags.
